Leadership in Action: Accountability Starts With Showing Up

When I decided to run for City Council, I made myself a promise: never forget who I serve and why.
This campaign isn’t about titles, power, or recognition, it’s about results.

In this video, you’ll see what that looks like. I’m not standing behind a desk or giving rehearsed speeches, I’m standing with the people. Listening. Learning. Leading. Because that’s how accountability begins.

For too long, Fayetteville has suffered from leadership that hides behind closed doors and press releases. I believe in doing things differently. I show up, in our neighborhoods, our schools, and our community spaces, because leadership isn’t a position, it’s a posture.

Transparency and accountability aren’t buzzwords to me; they’re my daily mission.

That’s why I’ve already called for:
A full state audit of Fayetteville’s city budget and contracts — to expose waste and restore trust.
Quarterly public reports — so residents can track progress on infrastructure, stormwater, and safety.
Real-time communication tools — so every taxpayer can see where their dollars go.

Leadership means being present when the cameras are off, when the work gets hard, and when people deserve answers. My record reflects that. From advocating for a fair budget to standing up for housing and public safety reforms, I’ve been consistent, action over promises.

This video isn’t a commercial. It’s a reflection of commitment.
I’ve been doing this work long before the campaign, and I’ll keep doing it long after the votes are counted.

Because true leadership means more than making noise, it means making change.
