Empower A Legacy, the leadership and advocacy initiative inspired by the bold vision of Kathy Greggs and her coalition of community-driven changemakers. This is more than a platform. It’s a movement to build, mentor, and mobilize the next generation of local leaders and community activists.
Our Mission
Empower a Legacy exists to develop transformative leaders who advocate for justice, equity, and sustainable community progress. We are committed to creating a space where leadership is nurtured, activism is taught, and change is made possible — one voice, one neighborhood, and one policy at a time.
Who We Are
We're a collective of educators, veterans, organizers, students, small business owners, and public servants—all united by a shared goal: to build a legacy of equitable leadership in Fayetteville and beyond. Led by Kathy Greggs, a U.S. Army Combat Veteran, activist, and policy reformer, this initiative brings together a team of visionaries who understand what it takes to fight for a fair future and to stand where leadership is most needed.
